QUICK HEALING PROCESS:
Typically heals faster than other brow techniques, with minimal scabbing or downtime.

What is the difference between Ombré Powder Brows and Microblading?

Ombré Powder Brows are a semi-permanent makeup technique that creates a soft, shaded, and natural-looking gradient effect, resembling the look of softly filled-in brows with makeup. It is achieved using a machine to deposit tiny dots of pigment into the skin, giving a defined yet natural appearance. The front of the brows is lighter and gradually darkens towards the tail, mimicking the look of perfectly applied brow makeup.

Microblading, on the other hand, involves manually creating hair-like strokes with a handheld tool to simulate natural eyebrow hairs. This technique is ideal for those who want to enhance their brows with a more hair-stroke look.

In summary, Ombré Powder Brows provide a more filled-in and defined look, similar to wearing brow makeup, while Microblading offers a natural, hair-like effect. The best choice depends on your desired brow style and skin type.

How long does the procedure take?

Ombré Powder Brows can take about 3–4 hours.

I take my time with each client and work very diligently to ensure the best results possible.

This time includes going over consent form, consultation and deciding on what look you are trying to achieve, brow mapping, numbing, procedure time, pictures, and explaining aftercare.

Do Ombré Powder Brows Hurt?

It all depends on your tolerance for pain.

Everyone has a different level of sensitivity, but I always apply topical anesthetics (numbing) during the treatment to alleviate any pain, sensation, or discomfort.

What should I do before my appointment?

This is a tattoo on your face, and I take this very seriously.

With that being said, I like to take my time to give you the best results possible and not rush. Here are a few tips to make sure you’re comfortable and ready for your big day!

Please dress comfortably. You will be lying down for about 2–3 hours.

Please come to your appointment ALONE (no kids or visitors allowed).

A 15-minute grace period is given, but in order to get you out on time, the appointment will be cancelled after this window.

Never hesitate to contact me if you have an issue.

Please eat something before your appointment so you can rest and relax during the process.

What is the procedure like?

After you’ve filled out your consent form, I sit with you to answer any questions you may have before we begin the treatment.

The first thing I do is capture before and after photos of your brows.

I map your brows using different measuring tools and a pencil to get them as symmetrical as possible.

(No one’s face is totally symmetrical. It is unrealistic to have expectations of perfect eyebrows. Brows are sisters, not twins — so I aim to achieve the illusion of symmetry.)

I draw the brow design in pencil so you get an idea of the shape and form. Before beginning the procedure, I make sure the shape and form is to your liking.

I won’t begin with anything until you are absolutely satisfied.

I will always give my input on what I feel looks best for your brows and facial structure, but it’s ultimately up to you.

Once we have agreed on a final shape, the brows are outlined, and then a topical anesthetic will be applied to ensure comfort.

Once you’re numb, I continue with the procedure until it's finished.

How long does the final product last?

Normally, 2–5 years, but it varies with skin type. It depends on how well your skin retains pigment during and after the session, as well as how well you maintain your brows.

Touch-ups are recommended annually to maintain brow shape and color. Touch-ups also ensure that your brows last longer.

Important Note - Touchups are separate services, with their own charges.

What should I do to care for my brows after my appointment?

OMBRÉ POWDER BROW AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Do...

✅ Dab with tissue every 30 min for 24 hours to remove lymph
✅ Keep the area dry for 24 hours
✅ Gently wash with mild unscented soap twice/day (splashing face only — no rubbing)
✅ Starting day 3, apply thin layer of ointment twice/day
Once healed, apply sunscreen to brows when in direct sunlight

Don’t....

❌ Do not use washcloth, pick, or scratch tattoo area
❌ Do not use steam, sauna, or swim for 10 days
❌ No makeup or creams on tattoo area for 10 days (this is an open wound until healed)
❌ No heavy, sweaty exercise for one week
❌ Avoid sleeping on your stomach (this may cause scabs to loosen prematurely)

What is the healing process like?

Getting Ombré Powder Brows is exciting, but the healing process can be a rollercoaster. Here’s what you should know so you don’t panic — everything you experience is completely normal.

Healing Stages Typically Look Like This...

Day 1:
😍 “Aww, thank you! I love them so much.”
Your brows look fresh, crisp, and bold — and you’ll be obsessed.

Days 2–4:
😳 “What?! Why are they so dark?!”
Brows will look darker and more dramatic as pigment oxidizes. This is expected.

Days 4–7:
😬 “They’re scabbing and itchy, but I won’t pick.”
Light flaking and scabbing happen as the skin begins to shed. Don’t scratch or pick — let it heal naturally.

Days 8–10:
😮 “My brows are so light now… but she said that’s normal.”
Brows may look faded or patchy as the skin continues to heal. Pigment is still settling underneath.

Days 14–28:
😃 “Oh! The color is back. I’ll schedule my touch-up.”
Pigment starts to resurface and brows even out. Final results are becoming visible.

After Touch-Up:
😍 “I’m obsessed! Good thing I trusted the process.”
The touch-up perfects the shape, color, and symmetry, giving brows that polished final look.

What’s Happening Under the Skin...

Brows may look darker and bolder right after treatment.

Around day 5, itching and flaking are common as skin sheds. Sometimes pigment looks like it “disappears.” This is normal — it’s just covered by healing skin.

As your skin goes through its 4–6 week regeneration cycle, pigment will reappear but about 30% lighter than immediately after your appointment.

That’s why the touch-up session is essential — it allows adjustments to shape, color, and density once we see how your skin retained the pigment.

Think of the Touch-Up As…

💅 The top coat of nail polish — it seals everything in, enhances durability, and ensures your brows look flawless long-term.

Are there any restrictions after the procedure?

Keep the skin clean and dry.

Don’t submerge your brows in water or partake in activities such as swimming and exercising (no sweating).

Overall, avoid getting the area wet.

No tanning or prolonged sun exposure.

No picking, peeling, scratching, or rubbing the tattoo — this could result in a loss of color and scarring.

Once your brows have healed (10–14 days), you can wash your hair and face normally and begin treating your brows as your own.

Will there be swelling?

Yes, for some people. But it’s very minimal and usually only lasts 24 hours, if that.

Do you accept payment plans?

Yes! We do offer "Buy Now, Pay Later" options. We can absolutely help you set this up during your appointment.
